Today's Surf Conditions

Thursday, 07/02/09 at 8:25AM PDT

On tap this morning we have overcast skies, just a slight breeze out of the west with weak surf crumbling away in the waist to chest high range with maybe an occasional shoulder high set rolling in. The ocean is looking fairly smooth with just a slight amount of texture and other than the weak, crumbling conditions, things are looking rather clean out there. The waves are looking somewhat rideable with maybe a working peak somewhere along the beach, but from what I can see, things are looking rather soft and weak with not a whole lot happening out there. Overall, if you have the time and don’t have to drive very far, than the conditions are worth a check, but for everyone else living outside of a 4 block radius of Ocean Beach, the conditions are definitely not worth going out of your way for.
